Yep! TNI was founded by women, has a woman publisher and editor-in-chief, a majority female staff, and (without any kind of quota system) happens to publish long form criticism authored by women and men equally. Just for the record. :)

This is the first time I’ve ever seen a general-interest publication use the fact that it publishes women as part of a fundraising appeal. In addition to being a great read, The New Inquiry does indeed have way more female bylines than the dismal industry standard. I subscribed.
